LATE CANCELLATION / NO SHOW
Cancellations within 72 hours of appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the appointment cost, cancellations within 24 hours of appointment will be charged 100%.
If upon arrival your pet is unable to be groomed for any reason, client will be responsible for up to the full cost of service and charged consequently. All health related issues including injuries, surgeries, illness and pregnancy must be disclosed at least 72 hours before appointment to give us adequate notice to determine if your pet will be safe to groom. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fee if your pet is deemed unsafe to groom. We allow a grace period of up to 10 minutes upon arrival for clients to bring us their pet. After this grace period the appointment will be considered canceled and client will be charged consequently. Repeated cancellations will result in a termination of service.
APPOINTMENT TIMES
Due to the nature of mobile grooming, appointment times are approximate, and we may not be able to arrive right at the scheduled time. We always do our best to arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible, and will always contact the client if we are running earlier or later than the appointment time.
BEHAVIORAL ISSUES / AGGRESSION
Safety becomes compromised when a pet becomes aggressive, overly fearful or anxious. Behavioral issues must be disclosed with groomer upon requesting appointment. For the safety of the pet and their groomer, we will discontinue service on any pet who may become a danger to themselves or their groomer.
MATTING
Dogs with matted coats require extra attention and additional fees may apply. Mats can be difficult to remove and may require the pet to be shaved; removing a heavily matted coat may result in minor nicks and/or skin irritation. Tight matting traps moisture and bacteria to the skin and previously existing skin issues may be uncovered upon shaving off matting. Shaving heavily matted ears may result in hematomas. The Pink Pup Mobile Grooming does not brush out tight matting and will opt to shave for the comfort and safety of the matted pet. By booking an appointment, clients release The Pink Pup Mobile Grooming from any liability associated with the de-matting process.
We require a valid card to be put on file to secure your pet’s appointment. Card may be charged upon late cancellation.
